Andre, Young and Sexy's guitarist, is a friend of Glen's. I'd heard of them but never heard them. Here are some photo's from their CD release at the Red Room.
Lucy Brain
Rob Calder
First off, who should be a special guest but the multitalented, business savvy, all round good guy, Rob Calder of The Salteens, and Boompa Records fame!
Andre Legace
Young and Sexy have one of my favourite Christmas songs. It's called Santa Likes Rich Kids Better.
Paul Hixon Pittman
Oh look! More special guest Rob Calder!!
Lucy is holding an avocado here. I don't know what that's all about.

I took these tonight at Glen's place.
The artwork and lamp are his, and made a cool backdrop.

Marah - February 3, 2006 Richards on Richards Vancouver B.C.
Barb told me I had to go see Marah. so I checked them out on myspace and found I really liked their garagey sound..
It wasn't the biggest crowd, but it was very enthusiastic. They came to the stage with the theme to Rocky.
Dave Bielanko
They got amazing reviews for their new CD, "If You Didn't Laugh, You'd Cry" They only played about 4 songs from the new album, but didn't play my favourite song "Out Of Tune".
They played for two hours spanning their 5 CD history including a couple from their first album.
Serge Bielanko
Some of the reviews...
#1 Album of 2005 - Marah is probably the best rock band in America that nobody knows...
– Stephen King, novelist and Entertainment Weekly columnist (12/9/05)
On its fifth album…Marah captures that devil-may-care attitude, that teetering on-the-verge energy, that sense of spontaneity that is the essence of rock 'n' roll.
